Okeano has been an associate with Brown Hutchinson since May, 2018. His practice is fully litigation, primarily defending tort and negligence claims.
Okeano is a cum laude 2015 graduate of Michigan State University College of Law, where he received numerous Dean’s List honors and Jurisprudence Awards, and a magna cum laude graduate of CUNY Queens College, where he received numerous Dean’s List honors and academic awards. He was admitted to the New Jersey bar in December 2015 and New York in January 2016.
Prior to joining Brown Hutchinson, Okeano served as a Deputy Attorney General in the Tort Litigation and Judiciary Section of the New Jersey Office of the Attorney General, where he counseled and defended the State of New Jersey and its departments, New Jersey Transit Corporation, state universities, judges, prosecutors, and a number of other public entities and public entity employees in a variety of complex state and federal litigation matters, including the full range of tort and negligence claims and civil rights claims.
