Growing up with a dead-beat biological father and an amazing stepdad, Mark considers himself fortunate to know the importance of strengthening the bond between a father and son. Raised by a man who demonstrated a fathers love to the homeless men living on the streets of Schenectady, NY, through the City Mission.
With a Masters in Education from Roberts Wesleyan College, Mark first worked at Rochester’s Villa of Hope, where he worked with children of mental and emotional disabilities. For the last 15 years a special education teacher within the Spencerport School District. Mark has coached various levels of basketball, from instructional youth teams, to SUNY Brockport’s first ever JV Women’s Basketball team, to his son’s 2019 AAU Basketball team as an assistant coach.
Mark has been married to his college sweetheart for 24 years. He’s devoted to providing consistent love and leadership into his three amazing sons. No matter your upbringing or age, every man has a need to father and to be fathered. Mark brings a lifetime of experience and excitement to a topic we all need to hear!
